Our Company’s [predecessor entity], Cello Plastic Industrial Works, commenced offering plastic houseware products under the “Cello” brand in 1982, and we have since diversified our product range and brand portfolio over the last four decades. Today Cello World Limited is India’s popular consumer houseware brand with the most diversified product portfolios among our peers with products in the glassware, opalware, melamine and porcelain categories (Source: Technopak Report)

We own and operate 13 manufacturing facilities across five locations in India, with the very latest in global technology advancement to go with our manufacturing facilities.

We are now setting up a new Glassware manufacturing facility in Rajasthan, which is expected to house European-made machinery that enables high productivity and precision in design and finish and expanding manufacturing capacities in our existing product categories.

OUR HISTORY The Cello Story – India’s Leading company in Consumer Houseware products

We are a popular Indian consumer products company with presence in three product categories: consumer houseware, writing instruments and stationery, and moulded furniture and allied products. We are a leading company in the consumerware market in India with products in the glassware, opalware, melamine and porcelain categories, and are among the largest consumerware brand in the Indian consumerware market (Source: Technopak Report).

Cello Plastic Industrial Works, commenced offering plastic houseware products under the “Cello” brand
2019
Cello also launched a range of cleaning products, under a new brand ‘Kleeno’
2019
Cello World Limited launched its  writing instrument and stationery product category under the “Unomax” brand.
2020
Cello World Limited scaled up its E-commerce business.
2022
Cello World Limited acquired 40% shareholding in Pecasa Tableware Private Limited which, among other things, is engaged in the business of manufacturing, producing and developing porcelain products.

Investment by India Advantage Fund S5 I, India Advantage Fund S4 I, Tata Capital Growth Fund II and Dynamic India Fund S4 US I

As of March 31, 2023 Cello World Limited is in the process of establishing a new glassware manufacturing facility.

Pradeep Ghisulal RathodChairman and Managing Director

Pradeep Ghisulal Rathod has more than 40 years of experience in the business of manufacturing and trading in, inter alia, plastic articles, thermoware articles and raw materials. He has been a Director of our Company since its incorporation.

Pankaj Ghisulal Rathod Joint Managing Director

He has more than 35 years of experience in the business of manufacturing and trading in, inter alia, plastic articles and raw materials and thermoware articles. He has been a Director of our Company since its incorporation.

Gaurav Pradeep Rathod Joint Managing Director

Gaurav Rathod is a third-generation entrepreneur with a bachelor’s degree in science (economic-finance) from Bentley University, Massachusetts (USA) followed by a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the writing instruments industry.
